Looking at the value of S25 changes I think a majority were hoping for a MudStonish or Rock Tomb nerf. The changes however dodged those entirely and instead gave us the tools to combat the old system to create a new one. Kind of like if everyone is super than no one is type deal.

I am in favor of these changes mostly because I hoped for a slight tone down to the fast move damage of MudStonish. The energy is fine but the typing of these moves was easily neutral into most mons, making the damage seem unbearable. But now the pacing of mons has been increased

Roughly 20+ species of pokemon got 45 or lower energy moves and other 40ish energy moves got up'd in damage. This means that resistances are more key than ever before with most charge moves hitting harder and faster. S24 was fast move meta now its looking to be just hyper active!
