Wonderful presentation at University of Tasmania by @cansengooi on awkward encounters in field work. Why do we not discuss this topic this more frequently? Great research & discussion that has left me thirsty for more!
The jury from the future leaders of tourism in Tasmania (the University of Tasmania UTas_MTECH Masters students) is out. Don't put a cable car at Cradle Mountain - it is not sustainable. So....will we listen to future leaders or our current ones when planning for our tourism future?

The HGA501 Sustainable Tourism field trip has begun! Day 1 began with a fantastic presentation from CEO of Tourism Tasmania John Fitzgerald. Now the students, led by Dr Oscar Vorobjovas-Pinta & @cansengooi, head to Burnie.

This week our HGA Critical & Contested Issues in Cultural Heritage students are at Port Arthur Tasmania & learning about managing tourism at cultural heritage sites. What a venue for a field trip!
