It was an honor to celebrate veterans yesterday at school! Our music teachers did an amazing job organizing an assembly and we even got to spend time with veterans in our classroom. Special shout-out to a veteran in my own life- I love you, Grandpa! Thank you for your service!

This Veteran’s Day, we watched a beautiful assembly, made a craft and thank you card and enjoyed a read aloud from a student’s parent who visited as a veteran of the Air Force! 🛩️🇺🇸❤️💙🤍 ⁦Discovery Elem⁩ ⁦Mrs. Zumbach-Woullard⁩

It was such a special evening seeing former Trailblazer students & a special teacher, at their first MS choir concert 🥹

Our game of the week was Fire on the Mountain 🙌🏻 (musical chairs with scarves) and we were able to break in the new rhythm sticks!

Ended the week with our Fall concert and a choir retreat 💙 We had a chance to bond with each other and play some fun singing games!

Team chameleon won the 1st house competition 💚 All of Discovery Elem has been working towards being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. Looking forward to see what house is next!

4th grade identified our new pitch “low so” and then we had an amazing idea to do the game as an entire class (instead of with just partners) and we couldn’t stop laughing 🥹
