Today our First graders got a chance to practice their digraphs with a partner.

Today, students in math got hands-on experience using marshmallows and toothpicks to create 3-D shapes! The marshmallows represent vertices and the toothpicks represent edges.

Some highlights from this week. This week students got a chance to practice their magic e skills by playing a board game with a partner. Then they fell in love with their new favorite Just Dance brain break, "Waka Waka"!

Students worked hard to pump up their good behavior in October and November by following PAWS LAWS. In addition to earning points for pbis they choose to bring their favorite stuffie to help them focus throughout the day. Next up is "Tis the ski-son for good behavior."

Thanks to Sandy Springs Education Force for hosting such a great STEAM showcase last night at North Springs HS. My students had blast showing off their drone skills and becoming leaders and teaching others how to fly in under 5 minutes. Thanks to @Ms_RWilkinson for organizing clubs at SDE.

Students spent today spooning their way around the room. On their exploration they sorted words into the categories for the two sounds of oo.
