An excellent Professional Development Day at Lions Oval PS focused on the #fundamentalsofmath. Meghan Twine, ConnorMcNamara OCT, and I joined the staff in performing an engaging activity related to number representation through #conceptcircles!

For the past 4 weeks we have been completing #probability #math experiments. After each challenge, we were a step closer to making a math “cake”. Today I surprised them with a REAL math cake to celebrate their success and send them off to March Break on a high note! Lions Oval PS

Finished piecing together our #narratives today in grade 3! We identified the #setting, #characters, #conflict, #resolution, and #moral in each story!
