This morning I have found this new NIST Elementary Agreement during my break duty. Happy to see that it has been displayed in different World Languages. I love the fact that Elementary students came along these agreements! NIST Int. School #nisties

Love this post about building trust and rapport with your co-teacher when providing in-class support for students. From my experience, it is spot on! I would add is that doing these things regularly can lead to meaningful co-teaching. eltplanning.com/2024/05/04/in-…

Translanguaging in action! In preparation for our Harkness discussion on Fast Fashion and Sustainability, students were asked to contribute an article to our Padlet either in their home language or from their home country. They wrote a short summary in English.

A1: At AIS Budapest the HSMUN collaborated with the MSMUN to train them and prep for the conference. It was powerful because the HS students had a great opportunity to be leaders and the MS students had great role models.

A4. There is a correlation between student- teacher & learning-teaching. Student's growth is usually linked to teacher's growth, when we get out of our comfort zone to learn new skills, new apps, try new strategies to ensure we are targeting our teaching goals but always keeping x.com/clos_gm/status…

You know your school has done a good job with promoting multilingualism and translanguaging when a student seamlessly and instinctually takes notes in two languages without being reminded or prompted to do so (and also isn't an "EAL student"). 💜
