We identified which biomes were seen in short clips of animated movies by looking at the climate, precipitation and biotic factors - Princess & the Frog, Finding Nemo, Aladdin, The Lion King, Tarzan, Snow White and Balto! LRMSWolves

We created a watershed where a divide separated land into multiple watersheds and surface runoff accumulated in bodies of water! This was shared with me by the 8th grade science team! LRMSWolves #science

We researched animal/plant adaptations in 4 different biomes. We then created a newly discovered species by choosing adaptations that would help it survive in a particular biome, drew the species and wrote an article introducing the new find! LRMSWolves

We celebrated the end of 2 challenging SOL filled weeks! Each student brought an item in & enjoyed snacking while SOL scores were given out. So amazed by the food/beverage turn out for each class period! Love teaching these kids!!

Fortnite Ecosystem Dynamics Race!! LRMSWolves

We built shoes that protect the foot, stay on while walking, and look cool! We then created ads on Canva or video commercials! We even had a runway show and voted for the best shoes! LRMSWolves #STEM #STEMeducation

We researched, built, tested, and used solar ovens to warm shredded cheese on Doritos! LRMSWolves It was great to be outside two days in a row and put our engineering skills to the test without being told what to do! #STEM

Happy Birthday to our favorite @LRMSPrincipal!!! We enjoyed putting together a card for him today! What makes him stand out is his welcoming smile, high standards, funny character and bald head! He makes it a priority to celebrate students that deserve recognition!!! 🎈

Year 6 is complete! I absolutely LOVE working at LRMSWolves! The students said “thank you!” throughout the school year, made me beyond proud, and made coming to work every single day a blessing!! I will forever cherish this year! 💙🤍 Thank you to everyone that impacted me!
