I was just trying to look for a lesson on argument in one of the lesson books that I pull from and I heard myself mumble, "but an index is my favorite text feature," when I saw that there wasn't one... #ELA #middlelevelteacher

What has happened in learning that when you give a student a checklist of what they need in their assignment that they are getting low grades because they don't follow the directions? Like I told you exactly how to get a 100!

I have a group that, for one reason or another, is 2ish weeks behind my other group. I am not sure how teachers who have to follow some preplanned program do it.

MC: Dark Meat (2) P: Roasted (2) SD1: Casserole (3) SD2: Mac and Cheese (5) D: Carrot Cake (1) Extra: Gravy and Biscuits (5) Total: $18 Wanted apple or pumpkin, but I wasn't willing to sacrifice the extras.
