We have been having fun practicing our reading fluency through Reader’s Theater. Ss performed “The Day the Crayons Quit” and “The Stinky Cheese Man” for our buddy class. We had a few extra K audience members as well. ☺️Christine Kline Ms. Edelsberg Robert Hunter
Today in math, we talked about what we want our math community to look, sound and feel like. We then got to know one another as mathematicians by creating people glyphs. Robert Hunter
It was a busy afternoon as readers in Chelsea Mecanko’s class! One reader “talked to her notebook” by writing about what she thought about what she read, while another student cross-referenced information from two nonfiction texts. Robert Hunter

There’s a new motto for third graders in Chelsea Mecanko’s class: “Okay, now PROVE IT!” Today, readers formed ideas and then proved that thinking with either a line, scene, or chapter from the text. These convincing third graders are ready to PROVE IT across the day! Robert Hunter
