P1: The Museo Nacional de Antropología in Mexico City honors indigenous groups like the Aztecs, Huichols, Maya, Mixtecs, and Olmecs. This summer, I admired the strength & beauty of Mexico's indigenous peoples through their rich histories, intricate artifacts, & profound stories.

This year brings the opportunity to work alongside strong leaders like Trustee Sher and Mentor Counselors Arellano and Sand. Their diverse experiences enhance our collaborative efforts, and I am grateful to engage in this important work together. #RaiderPride

Our Flag Football Team made it to CIF playoffs. We didn’t secure a win but we couldn’t be prouder of their effort and heart both in this game and throughout the season. We are grateful to Coach Fernandez and his team for their unwavering dedication.

P1: Jimena Lopez spoke at Tuesday’s Oxnard City Council meeting. She shared her experiences growing up in Oxnard and attending CIHS. It was great to be there alongside her mother and Ms. Plascencia, to hear her powerful story. Thank you, Jimena, for representing CIHS so well!
