Tasty Tuesday🍓🍌🥝 Today we were learning about healthy food choices. This morning we discussed the Eatwell plate and how to maintain a balanced diet. We then explored food hygiene and followed this guidance to chop fruit to make a fruit salad. We enjoyed our picnic in the sun!

Worship Wednesday⛪️ Today we were thinking about what peace means to us. We are praying for those who are less fortunate.

Class Olympic Games🥇🏟 Yesterday we were lucky to participate in a range of sports which were organised by the new sports leaders. Despite the rain, we had a fantastic time.

After exploring the designs of previous Olympic medals, we created our own out of clay🥇

Olympic Athlete Visit!🥌 Yesterday we had a visit from an Olympic curler. After a question and answer session, we were lucky to hold his medals and get signed autographs. The kids were starstruck.

Sports Day took place on Friday afternoon, as the rain postponed our morning session. It was great to see the pupils being cheered on by family and friends. Well done everyone for your full participation and sportsmanship! #PEPAS#confidentindividuals#responsiblecitizens

Congratulations to Isaac who was a finalist in the National Voicebox 2024 competition. Isaac attended the Scottish Parliament where he read out his joke. As a reward for getting to the final Isaac received a number of books for our school library and a medal.

Today we were exploring the circulatory system. This led to us taking part in an experiment which demonstrated how the heart works❤️

Today we explored realism art🎨🖼🦋 To do this, we learned about the history of the artistic movement and sorted paintings into realism or abstract. We were then challenged to use these techniques to camouflage a butterfly in our classroom.

Mahmood exchanged his dojo points to teach today’s PE lesson. He did a fantastic job organising rounders!🏏

Today we explored the new Paris Olympics 2024 stadiums🏟 We noticed all of these stadiums were near famous landmarks so decided to recreate the Eiffel Tower using spaghetti and marshmallows. What do you think of our creations?
