These are my people. They are amazing. Today the Medical Interventions class worked as genetic counselors for their cumulative Semester I project. They stayed 20 minutes after the bell to get it finished and support each other. The future of the biomed field is looking bright!

MERCY HOSPITAL EXPLORERS EARN CERTIFICATES: Yesterday Mercy Hospital hosted a graduation event and tour on site.  Students from Anderson and Turpin were involved and 28 students will received their certificates.  Dr. Steve Feagins and Mr. James Bauer lead the 6 week adventure!

Congratulations to Turpin Alum, Quintin Wilson, on his big win against Louisville on Senior Night! This hard working young man graduated in 2.5 years and is earning his MBA at UK. Way to go, Q!

It was a great day last week in the #bioskills lab with Anderson and Turpin! Dr. Crellin and Alex Popken, PA spoke to the students about knee anatomy and then the students got hands-on experience in the lab!

Huge shoutout to Dr. Wiggins, Dr. Early, PA Kenzie Hopper, the staff at @orthocincy and Arthrex! FHSD Medical Interventions students dissected a cadaver knee, practicing with arthroscopic surgery tools, and learned about the hardware used in orthopedic surgery.
