Thank you for the visit today Krishna Burra. Our school loved having a visitor. Sharing our learning is a highlight for staff and students! Stop by anytime! #LDSB #amazingdirector

The Empower kiddo’s Elginburg PS LDSB celebrated the completion of the program today. Their smiling faces say it all. We couldn’t be more proud of you🥰 We hope this benchmark leads you to a lifetime of loving to read now that you are decoding wizards! #LiteracyIsEquity Limestone District School Board

Making Oobleck to mix and investigate the properties of solids and liquids! Elginburg PS LDSB

Mid-summer, Intermediate students recommended for their Leadership skills enjoyed 2 days at @gouldlake_LDSB and 6 days in Algonquin Park. They worked hard! Here they are practicing mapping and orienteering, tied to math, geography, and wellbeing. We love outdoor Ed! Limestone District School Board

Our class at Fairfield Elementary visited County of Lennox & Addington Libraries and LOVED learning about structures with Kate! They enjoyed comparing shapes of landmarks before trying to build their own droppable Lego creations. STEM and Literacy fun!

PJ Day at Fairfield Elementary meant we needed to eat some cereal! These scientists experimented with simple machines to solve problems like ‘How can we get the box on the table?’ & ‘How can we lift the cereal above our bowls?’ #handsonlearning #STEM

@gouldlake_LDSB staff training earned an A+ today. I was always a fan of the program, but now I am really in love! Kids are going to have an incredible Outdoor experience this summer!

Rainbow scavenger hunt in the DLC. Seeing what human and natural colours we can find in the yard! Happy Pride Month! #seeyourselfinlimestone Limestone District School Board

We start each morning representing the days we have been in school this year in many ways. What does 23 look like? How can we build 23? Without pennies/one coins, what could we use to pay? #welovechallenges #spiralledmath Prince Charles (Verona) Limestone District School Board

On this warm October afternoon, Ss examined leaf shapes, types, colours, and locations in the school yard. Next they compared/contrasted their findings with peers, before planning and creating pieces to take home. Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Long Weekend! Prince Charles (Verona)

The 2s showed creativity, perseverance, and fine motor skills creating felt characters! Subitizing with candy corn proved to be tasty (or less so for some tastebuds), and students demonstrated ways to represent rolled numbers. We’re on to November! Prince Charles PS
