Yesterday Mills Park Middle students engaged with their curriculum by attempting to walk the perimeter of the blast site of Hiroshima. As they walked they read primary sources and looked at photos while thinking critically about how war effects citizens.

Today my COVID class graduates! This feels like both yesterday & a million years ago (school cancelled 3 days after these pictures were taken) We had no idea what was in store. These kids showed so much resilience while we took on online learning together. Congrats class of 2025!
