Book #22 of the school year: Opposite of Always by justin a. reynolds. FREAKING PHENOMENAL! I absolutely loved it & yes, I was craughing throughout. Characters were amazingly crafted, the real-world messages through decisions & actions were astute, & the time travel aspect was 🔥

Book #23 of the school year: Here to Stay by Sara Farizan (is here once a week). Really enjoyed this story and perspective. So glad this novel is offered as a book club option for my sophomores—they really like it! #heretostay #YAL

Book #2 of the summer: The Liars Society: A Risky Game by Alyson Gerber updates. THAT plot twist really got me 🤯 and now I need to pre-order book #3. Love these and my students do too! #mystery #secretsociety #truthovereverything #liars

Book #3 of summer: Under the Same Stars by Libba Bray. This is THE BEST BOOK I’ve read in 2025. The interconnectedness of the characters & their storylines bleed into the truth of history & humanity & how we are all joined together in the future we decide to make! #remainhopeful

Book #4 of summer: Projekt 1065 by Alan Gratz. At the NTTBF, he said this was his favorite book he wrote, so I had to buy it!

Book #5 of summer: Red Rising by Pierce Brown. This novel came highly recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint! #dystopian #scifi #loveispowerful #wordsarepower

Book #6 of the summer: The Nickel Boys by colson whitehead. Reading this in prep for teaching AP English Literature this upcoming school year. I’ve never read it before but it was very good, and I loved the revelation in Part 3
