We made some poppies with clay this afternoon as a sign of respect for #RememberanceDay 🙏🏼Miss McGettigan P4 Mrs Thomson and Primary 3

Today, we learned about Remembrance Day. We discussed why we remember those who have fought in wars and the significance of the poppy. We also talked about how by showing all of our school values, we can remember and show respect, and peace to all.

We were counting in 4s today to help get us ready for the 4 x table. J was very confident in filling in all the missing numbers 👍🏻⭐️

3 wee basketball superstars! They listened so well, confidently dribbled the ball, demonstrated chest passes and topped it all off by scoring a basket each! ⭐️🏀⭐️🏀⭐️🏀

As part of our Countries topic, we looked at the continent of Africa and have been learning about the country of Kenya 🇰🇪 we took notes and then used them to create a poster sharing our learning. We have also started to create beautiful sunsets by working on colour blending 🌅

At the end of the day, S read the class Jack and the flum flum tree and what a treat it was! She is such a confident reader and kept us all fully engaged throughout! What a superstar! ⭐️ #proudteacher

I was so engaged throughout P3s solo talks that I forgot to take pictures of the children! Instead, here is some of the work that they used to help them with their presentations. I was very impressed with the standard of talks and look forward to hearing the last few tomorrow
