1st graders Shawanoe Elementary School are enjoying Camp-Learn-a-Lot in the Intervention room! We collected and analyzed data, learned the difference between fiction and nonfiction, read books by a “campfire” and read in a tent! Great way to end the year! ⛺️🔥📚

We read How I Spent My Summer Vacation and drew a picture to share either their actual vacation or an exaggerated version! We are working on our speaking and listening skills!

We read If You Take a Mouse to School and retold the story by creating his path through the school. We used a magnet to help him move through the story!

We had the best STEM Friday after reading The Recess Queen! Students made their own playground from recycled materials.
