#NMSchat A1 I look at what went well and what didn't. Figure how to take them to the next level or looking at what could have been better. Looking at the task and seeing what needs to be broken down for the students to understand better.

#NMSchat A2: The word curious means to me: being genuinely interested in the subject, asking questions along with the students, and having excitement. Thinking "what if?"

#NMSchat A3: Keeps the kids interested and usually what they like is current

#NMSchat A4: Application means for me that what I teach my students should help them in the classroom.

#NMSchat A5 I think I would turn my room into being inside a video game, where they had "quest" to go to the next level.

#nmschat A6 Failing is important because you can learn from the new thing you are trying (at least you are trying something new). It's good to show the students resilience in keep trying new methods to make something work.

#NMSchat A1: humor and I use the little basketball..making shots into the basket

#NMSchat A3: I remind myself that we all have different strengths and just try to stay away from it. It is harder when we have our speech therapist meetings and I hear all the other SLPs talking.

#NMSchat A4: I think there are a lot of times that I do this..like when I'm a little grumpy...eventually I can get out of it by mid-late morning.

#NMSchat A5: Time is a barrier...time working with the students and time on getting lessons planned

#NMSchat A6: That's a good question..I've been thinking about that...That is definately following directions and sequencing. I've been thinking about that this week.

#NMSchat A2: I don't see very many students at once so engagement is a little easier that way but I still try to make it fun and different by changing things up, making it fun and very personal to them.

#NMSchat A3: I feel like I have a good relationship with most of my students and adding a little fun also helps.

#NMSchat A4 Sonic Drink...even if it's a payback drink! Giving them support in whatever they need.
