In 3rd and 4th grade #digitalcitizenship class we reviewed the components of a professional email and practiced our new skills by emailing Mrs. Ryder and other school staff members.

Our math warm-up today was a quick thinking challenge. Students had to build as many shapes as they could in two minutes. We had hexagons, pentagons, trapezoids, and more!

Today in math we practiced the concept of division with lots of manipulatives. Students divided objects within their small groups and told me what they noticed. We discussed the division equations and we talked about the amount of equal groups and remainders.

Today’s photo challenge in our middle school elective class: “Big World, Small Object.” We took small figurines and matchbox cars outside and took awesome photos with the macro lenses and then zoomed out to really see how small these objects are in our big world. #AppleEDUchat

We are “guessing the objects” in photography class when we return from winter break. Students took a sequence of 3 photos. The first was with a macro lens, then zoomed out a little bit, then a photo of the entire object. The students had such great ideas. #AppleEDUchat
