So proud of Claire for representing Barton Pond Elementary School at the 2024 Gifts of Gold Art Exhibition North Carolina Museum of Art. Her piece titled The Family Tree will be up in the museum until April 7th.

So sad to learn that Faith Ringgold is no longer with us. She was an inspiration to artists and art teachers everywhere. It was such an honor to have met her many years ago at the start of my career. ❤️
