I had a great time at Lark Rise Academy | Dunstable this afternoon, meeting the Year 6 pupils. I hope to see lots of them at open evening and look forward to being a part of their secondary journey. Thank you to Romina Lang for hosting me, look forward to seeing you at Queensbury next week.
It was lovely to have Romina Lang & Lorna Francis with us this morning & to listen to our year 7s talk so enthusiastically about Queensbury Academy. It was also wonderful to hear them demonstrate our care values and asking after staff & students back at Lark Rise Academy | Dunstable
What a story about a system that is broken & shows no sign of mending.I listened to the whole book in 24 hours. The bravery of Katriona O'Sullivan not only enduring all of this but in openly sharing her story with the world to bring urgent change.A must read/listen open.spotify.com/show/4l51Po3fL…
My favourite bit of today is 4 year 8 girls asking to perform their Red Riding Hood Revolting Rhymes to me as part of our WOW week, then spontaneously bursting into performance in the canteen during lunch, in front of everyone without a care in the world! Queensbury Academy #WeCare
This week, I've spoken to 143 students who are proud of something they have achieved for our 1st WOW week. The conversations I enjoy the most are when students are proud of themselves because they have achieved something great, improved & just tried really hard. Queensbury Academy
