Math choice time today had students making tough decisions about whether to choose a multiplication game, a challenge multiples maze, or even Minecraft themed coding for Computer Science Education Week! 💻

Students got to learn about all the topics their peers are experts on during our nonfiction book gallery walk today! They loved leaving post it notes with feedback for their friends.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Cardboard Challenge arcade today! While they ended the day exhausted, you put huge smiles on the faces of these 3rd graders all day long by playing their games! Center Grove Dana Dawson Danielle Tromba

Could you create a well balanced day of meals for a family of 4 for under $50? That’s what our 3rd graders were tasked with during their nutrition and math task!

Our kids love giving feedback during gallery walks this year. Such a fun, but also helpful way to celebrate our informational writing. #glowandgrow

I LOVE hearing updates from past students, so having the opportunity to have one present today to the 3rd graders about her #socialenterprise #braceletsforgoodbysam and show how they can turn their own passions into something amazing was incredible. Lauren Bachenheimer Center Grove

Riley is making sure I continue to practice my read aloud skills while I’m home with her. The teacher in me loves how engaged she already is!

While at Erica Rossmann ‘s class on Friday, I realized the last time I went to reading buddies my current students were the kindergarteners! It felt wonderful to be back together.

The Lenape didn’t have electricity, so we decided today’s power outage came at the perfect time to make our Lenape village presentations to 2nd grade even more realistic!

For years during our engineering unit I’ve told my students I know a rocket scientist, but soon I’ll be able to say I know someone who has been to space and may have to add him to our “changemaker” unit! Congrats, Chris!!!

A year ago while on maternity leave I decided I needed to start something to keep my brain active. While teaching and a one year old keep me insanely busy these days, I’m proud I made it a year of practicing a little bit of Spanish each day!
