Math choice time today had students making tough decisions about whether to choose a multiplication game, a challenge multiples maze, or even Minecraft themed coding for Computer Science Education Week! 💻

Students got to learn about all the topics their peers are experts on during our nonfiction book gallery walk today! They loved leaving post it notes with feedback for their friends.

For years during our engineering unit I’ve told my students I know a rocket scientist, but soon I’ll be able to say I know someone who has been to space and may have to add him to our “changemaker” unit! Congrats, Chris!!!

A year ago while on maternity leave I decided I needed to start something to keep my brain active. While teaching and a one year old keep me insanely busy these days, I’m proud I made it a year of practicing a little bit of Spanish each day!
