We are using our stitching skills to make Easter pouches.

Once we made our creative pouches we decided how to decorate them.

Week 2 of of our musical workshop. We created our own music for a haunted and city theme with Amanda. We even had our own conductors, well done to B and K from P5a and Z from p6/5. Some excellent ideas, such a creative and rhythmic group. 🎶🎼🎵Newark Primary

We were very lucky to have a visit today from Phillipa. She taught us all about Parliament and the House of Lords. We learned lots of interesting terms and how a Bill is passed.

I was very proud of J today as he worked extremely hard to find fractions of amounts.

We are rearranging our classroom enquiry based learning stations.

P6s had a lovely morning at Bubblegum and Fluff today, learning about the Easter story.

P5/6 had "an assessment" to see how well they read instructions this morning. Unfortunately none of them read it well enough to realise it was an April Fools joke before they stood on one leg to write the name of the school! 😂

Our heptathlon team are out on Thursday at Ravenscraig stadium. The weather looks amazing so can all the children have plenty of fluids and sun cream if needed. No spectators are permitted so I’ll post plenty of pics. Please share. Newark Primary
