I am the Visual Arts teacher for Year 5 Highschool transitions Fairfield PS and the amount of raw talent I’ve discovered so far is astounding! 😱

5I came 3rd place for their film: With Each Other for the arts and film festival Fairfield PS. The film was a culmination of a year-long journey of self discovery. By learning about the Aboriginal identity of one student we all learnt a little more about ourselves.

Our class film has been entered into the 2019 Mil-Pra Indigenous Arts Competition @CasulaArts! Based on a student's poem about belonging in modern Australia. Students were involved in the process from start to finish, from storyboarding to editing. Fairfield PS David Smith
