The Year 5/6 Tag Rugby event took place this week. The event allows the children to learn the skills of rugby and the resilience and respect that comes along with rugby. Thanks to Simon finnan and Burnley RUFC for all the help with organisation and refs School Games

Thinking of the year 6 children, staff and parents/carers this week ⭐️

Congratulations to our children celebrating their first Holy Communion this morning. We keep them and their families in our prayers on this very special day in their journey of faith. Thank you to Mrs Platt and Mrs Davies who have prepared them for this all year.

Immensely proud of all in Year 6. Results are in and thoroughly deserved for all their efforts. Now time to enjoy our last few days in school without thinking about anything SATs related 😅

Today we say goodbye to our lovely Miss Cooke who is retiring after 20 years caring for our school. She will certainly be missed by children, staff, parents and community. We wish her a very well deserved retirement with her new puppy. If you see her today, please wish her well!

Our first ever Santa Dash! We had a fantastic time and were helped out by our brilliant Sports Leaders from Unity College. A great day filled with lots of fun and Christmas spirt - and chocolate! Thank you to everyone for coming and we hope you had a great time School Games
