Today we peer assessed our fact files in pairs and we gave them some next steps to work on.

Today Phil from the Greenhill Historical society spoke to the Primary 5, 6 and 7s all about the history of canals in Bonnybridge. For leading the learning this week, the music/ choir group learned to play Auld Lang Syne using a keyboard on GarageBand. Some of us wanted to bring our own instruments in to play.

We thoroughly enjoyed our last outdoor learning session with Under the Trees today. We used loose parts to build places in Bonnybridge, the canal and Falkirk wheel, explored Scottish wildlife skulls and enjoyed a cosy campfire with toasted marshmallows. Under The Trees Ltd

This afternoon for Digital Learning, we worked as a team to recreate parts of Bonnybridge using the Minecraft app.

Today, we worked in pairs to complete a never heard the word activity to help us learn new vocabulary from the model text. We then identified these words in the model text and wrote our own sentences using the words from our grid.

Primary 6 and 7 confidently performed their Burns Supper to other classes and families today.. well done 🌟

We have been enjoying some rugby taster sessions on Tuesday mornings.

To consolidate our measure topic in maths and to learn about preparing food safely for health and wellbeing, we made some no-bake chocolate tray bake today.

We have been learning about narrow boats and barges on the canals. We designed our own narrow house boat this afternoon.

Learning to turn a negative comment into a positive one. We are learning to be internet kind. ❤️

P6 loved world book day! We brought in some amazing and creative character puppets and enjoyed some outdoor reading where we chose a spot to read in the sun and used chalk to visualise our favourite character or scene from our books. #antoworldbookday
