On Wednesday we wore pink! We talked about how important it is to choose kindness and to understand the power behind our words. We took time to write one kind thing about each person in our class on a shirt, so that students can read them when they need a pick-me-up. St. Charles C.S.

We made sure to set up our traps before we left today. Students worked hard at brainstorming, writing and then finally making their Leprechaun traps. I have a good feeling about these ones! St. Charles C.S.

Today was colours of the rainbow day. Our class colour was orange, we had an extra bright Friday! St. Charles C.S.

Thank you Ontario Science Centre for the informative presentation about the solar eclipse. It helped us have some fun conversations about what’s going to happen in a few weeks. St. Charles C.S.

Today is Purple Day 💜 As a class we had discussions about what epilepsy is and why it’s important we know and show support for those with epilepsy in our community. #EpilepsyAwareness #PurpleDay2024 St. Charles C.S.

This week we learned about Holy Week and looked forward to celebrating Easter. We wrote about what would happen if we met the Easter bunny, we had an Easter egg hunt in our classroom and we enjoyed some bread and grape juice after talking about the Last Supper. St. Charles C.S.

We were so lucky over the last few weeks to be able to watch chick eggs in the warmer, try to look inside with a flashlight and then get to meet them once they hatched. Thanks to Ms. Kanyo for this awesome experience! St. Charles C.S.
