3. Exploring the importance of equality. We read remarkable biographies written about Stevie Wonder and Evelyn Glennie. Using this as inspiration, the children wrote their very own autobiographies in the style of Little People, Big Dreams ⭐️ The children really loved this unit!

3. Further promoting equality and friendship, we read the beautiful book ‘Call Me Lion’ written by Camilla Chester she/her. The children empathised with the character and responded to and wrote their very own beautiful informal letters 💛 I highly recommend this book ⭐️

Developing early comprehension skills in RWI Phonics by using Seesaw to photograph the evidence needed to answer questions linking to text. Currently trying to explore different ways to make the scheme a little more practical! #Year1 @rgsguildforddxb

We have been exploring different ways to add extra dimensions to our phonics teaching & learning. We used a phonics grid to take and show a sound in different ways before creating a ‘silly’ sentence. @rgsguildforddxb
