Fascinating paper on how LLM’s aren’t getting any better at reasoning.

Tiers do not ‘rank’ vocabulary. Tiers are based on the role of a word in the language. T1-common hi-freq words that we ALL use everyday; T2 -words characteristic of text; T3 -domain specific, narrow contexts of use.

This response is illogical, insulting, and counterproductive. You really don’t want kids learning tier 2 words? The kind of words you use all over your own writing (4 in the 1stsentence)? You don’t want to help kids access text language? 1/3
