It’s not Christmas until Hans Gruber falls from Nakatomi Tower. Movie Club showed the Christmas classic Die Hard.

The weather is starting to turn to warmer weather.

I am one that does not use personal days. I have always looked at it as; I am paid to do my job and I will. I also think that I need to be at work for my students. I will say this, for the first time, I’m actually thinking using them.

It’s been a long couple of months for our shop, and it is really hitting me. Ugh.

Ah!!! When the weather turns warm and we can dress comfortably for school.

Memorial Day is the day we remember and honor those who gave everything to protect and defend our country. Not a day goes by, I don’t think of you John. Your banner hangs proudly in our related room. I enjoy passing on your story to all my students. BVT Vocational BVT

Actually issued an after session today. To get me to do this something. Eighteen years and I don’t think I’ve give out ten. I will always try to work with the student and figure out why they acted up. Why can’t you just walk down the hallway and not yell? DANG!!!!!! Be better.

Possibly the largest attendance in Movie Club history (14). Today we watch the OG Space Jam. Lots of laughs, and popcorn and sodas. If the word gets out, I may need the school to add an auditorium. Hahaha

#MovieClub hosted a solid crowd of twelve for the showing of Eight Crazy Nights. I had not seen this and did not know what to expect. I was shocked, and so were a few others, by how it went. I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did the kids.

Mike Tyson used to say; anyone can have a plan until they are punched in the face. Well that was our gingerbread “house” for the annual competition. I had the idea of a work truck. I wish we could have found another kit to make the truck. BVT Vocational

Nice attendance for Movie Club today for the showing of the 2021 Tom & Jerry movie. Kids & I enjoyed it. I will say this though, I never liked Jerry when I was a kid, and I still don’t like him now. #ProTom

Work work work. Grading COPs/mid-year exams. Hair Nation is cranking from the speakers in shop while uploading scores. Good times.

Related final part 1 today. Student - how much does the final count? Me - Why? Student - just want to know for when I fail. Me - I’m not trying to be a smart tookus but, you have taken each part of this test this year.
