What a great few days away!

Today I helped a Y6 Muslim boy take his afternoon prayer on the 1st day of Ramadan. At my previous school this would have been normal however today (at my new school) I’ve never been thanked so much for supporting him during this special time. #RamadanMubarak to those celebrating

This same pupil came to school today (after a two week Easter break) with these and said “Happy Vaisakhi Mr Savage!” It’s creating these connection why I love this job!

Just a normal Friday at work 🙌🏽😅

The site manager and I decided we needed to tackle the blocked soak away before the rain came in at the end of the week. 1st photo clearing it and all that water ran away creating a water free playground. 2nd photo is 2 days later with a cleared drain. Gutted.
