It would have been my Mum’s birthday today. May 27th. She died four years ago, alone, in a respite home at the height of the pandemic. She’d decided to stop eating and drinking. We’d not been able to see her for weeks. Much loved and missed.

Labour have been untrustworthy on rights for working people for as long as I can recall - Sarwar being their chief offender. Whether it's this, their legacy of unequal pay for women in Glasgow or their ditching of a ban on unpaid work trials, they simply cannot be trusted.

Quite a struggle to get Anas Sarwar to answer as he tried swerving and evading. But Martin pinned him down in the end. His family company does not pay its employees the real living wage. And that’s disgraceful. Do as I say not do as I do…….

Parliament would be worse off without John holding UK Government(s) to account. His knowledge and expertise, especially when it comes to the media, is unrivalled.

Great to see Beth cutting through the flannel. Scotland hasn’t altered the results of a UK election since 1974. Elections are won in England.

The last thing Scotland needs is a phalanx of Scottish Labour MPs - lobby fodder for the most conservative Labour leader of my lifetime.

Sir Keir Starmer has been in Scotland where The SNP has scrapped tuition fees for students.

He promised he’d scrap tuition fees elsewhere in the UK. A firm “pledge.” A promise. A guarantee.

Now he’s U turned again.

Why would anyone in Scotland trust Labour?
