Tomorrow is International Day of Pink, some schools will recognize the day on Apr 11 and participate in a board wide event. We stand with the Two-Spirit LGBTQIA+ community and will continue to speak up against bullying, discrimination, and all forms of homophobia & transphobia.

#PrideMonth celebrates the history, achievements and diversity of the Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ community. It honours the struggles and victories of the community in their fight for equal rights. PDSB is committed to improving the educational experiences of gender diverse students.

#OrangeShirtDay is on September 30. We are encouraging staff and students to wear Orange Shirts to honour residential school survivors and their families.

REMINDER: February 14 is a PA Day for all Regular elementary and secondary students.

Together, we brainstorm and collaborate on strategies that ensure every learner has the support they need to thrive, no matter their level. I always look forward to these sessions—their insights make all the difference!
