Here’s a clip from a time I dressed up for a lesson. The first time I did this transformed me as a teacher. Why? 🔹When Ts are excited, kids are excited. 🔺It doesn’t take much to amp up a lesson. 🔸When we create real world experiences, kids have a purpose for learning.

.Rockwood School Dist 8th grade Career Fair is about #CareerExposure. Students selected 3 career clusters to explore. Business, Fashion, Communications, and Healthcare (pictured below) are just a few of the 12 clusters offered. More than 50 careers represented today!

More than 2,000 Rockwood School Dist eighth-graders from all six middle schools attended a career fair that was hosted by Rockwood Partners in Education this week. During the three-day event, students met with panelists representing unique occupations & learned about 100 different careers! #WeAreRockwood
