23 years ago I went to watch my 1st State wrestling tournament in Columbus as a 7th grade wrestler & fell in love with the sport. Now I get to watch two kids I coached as 7th graders get their hands raised in the same arena. Congratulations gentlemen!

Congrats MentorShoreWrestling on taking the Battle of Mentor tonight. Might’ve been a loss for MMS, but what a win for this sport,this community, and these future teammates. A packed gym with alumni, coaches, friends/families & some exciting wrestling?Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Memorial Wrestling went 2-0 tonight, but I’m prouder of the way our team cheered for each other, composed themselves, and displayed their sportsmanship. There’s more to this sport than what happens on the mat and the score on the board. Memorial Wrestling
