The City of Mountain View wishes everyone a happy Fourth of July whether that's celebrating with a barbecue, participating in a parade, or watching a fireworks show. Most City facilities are closed in observance of Independence Day. Call 9-1-1 if you have an emergency.

The Citywide Garage Sale is back! Seller registration is now open, and the event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14. Sellers may choose to participate on only one day or both days of the sale. Register for the sale at MountainView.gov/GarageSale.

The 10th annual Mountain View Technology Showcase is here! This free public event highlights the cutting-edge technologies being developed right here in Mountain View. Come out to take part in interactive exhibits from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Civic Center Plaza, 500 Castro St.

Caltrans and the City of Mountain View are implementing several safety improvements along El Camino Real. This include the use of green paint in bike lanes where “conflict zones” exist. Please keep bike lanes clear by not parking or idling your vehicle in these areas.
