#OTD in 1933, the Chicago World’s Fair opened w/the Ford Motor Company Rotunda. Featuring a futuristic design inside & out, the 12-story, gear-shaped building epitomized the fair’s theme of innovation. When the Fair ended in 1934, the Rotunda was relocated to Dearborn. #ThisDayInAutoHeritage

#OTD in 1928, Chrysler bought Dodge for $170 million. Chrysler was still establishing itself in the industry, only taking over Maxwell two years prior.
