All Saints' Cathedral Kampala All Saints' Cathedral, Kampala Fathers Union Fathers' Union - Church of Uganda Church of Uganda members joined together to celebrate St.Peter's day on 29th June 2025. The Fathers were accompanied by their spouses who also belong to Mothers Union Mothers' Union- Church of Uganda.
Yesterday,5th July 2025,Diocese of West Ankole Diocese of West Ankole Church of Uganda organized and participated in the Provincial #DoGoodFamilyRun, a fundraising drive by Mothers' Union towards the construction of Provincial Mothers' Union hostel. 📸niwaha bright #WestAnkoleDiocese.
Bishop Diocese of West Ankole Rt.Rev Johnson asked Christians when called upon, to keep supporting and participating in Church projects and activities. After the run, fastest runners were awarded in the category of best two females and males respectively. By: niwaha bright 📸niwaha bright
The run was sponsored & attended by Archdeacons, Mothers' Union coordinators, Fathers' Union - Church of Uganda coordinators,Bishops' office staff, Equity Bank Uganda Jubilee Sacco, Muhame Financial Services, Ankole Western University,Secondary & Primary schools' representatives & Compassion Assisted projects.

Over 50MUgx raised in Church of Uganda’s Do Good Family Run today 19th July 2025 as part of efforts to raise resources for the construction of the Mothers’ Union Hostel as a self-sustainability project, Church of Uganda today held the Provincial #DoGoodFamilyRun at Mengo Senior School
The Chief Runner,Johnson Byabashaija the Commissioner General of the Uganda Prisons Service who led a delegation of Commissioners & over 400 staff members to participate in the run, commended Mothers’ Union & Church of Uganda for championing self-sustainability through local resource mobilization.
The Chief Runner,Canon Dr Johnson Byabashaija Johnson Byabashaija, Commissioner General Uganda Prisons Service thanked the Mothers’ Union for upholding family values,instilling moral discipline among married couples & serving as role models in their communities. #DoGoodFamilyRun2025.
Mrs. Grace Murengezi, the President of the Provincial Mothers’ Union, urged members of the Mothers’ Union and all supporters to contribute to the initiative aimed at tackling the accommodation issues at Mengo Senior School.
We have observed that Mengo Senior School has a significant number of students who require more spacious & secure housing. Therefore, we have chosen to gather resources and invest in this endeavor. I encourage all faithful individuals to support us,” Mrs. Grace Murengezi.

When I walked across the stage to receive Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Victoria University, Kampala. It was more than a celebration of academic achievement but it was the fulfillment of a dream built on persistence, passion and purpose.
