Deeply troubled and saddened by the continued senseless violence plaguing our streets, particularly across the north of England. This action has no place in our society. Grateful for all those seeking peace in these communities including our police forces for their dedication.

Sitting here today, halfway between Brighton and Hastings which are both on that truly awful list. Praying with all my heart for safety, peace, tolerance and compassion to be more powerful than the hateful and despicable rhetoric tarnishing and shaming this society right now.

Dressed in culturally non-conforming religious attire to openly practice the rituals of a Middle-Eastern religion which came over here and imposed its customs and values on the indigenous population...

Quippy middle class folk should remember there's a lot of us from working class backgrounds who also have few qualifications, poor grammar, and bad teeth, but aren't foaming at the mouth racists. Maybe focus on the racism part rather than betraying all your class prejudice 😃

St Mary’s has a magnificent high altar, but the south chapel is truly sublime. Saying Mass, according to the 1662 rite, behind the 16th century rood screen is really quite something.
