Can you help? We are looking for resources for our ‘loose parts’ play & EYFS yard. Do you know anyone who has old milk crates, guttering, wooden planks, drain pipes, bike tyres … the photographs show examples of what we are looking for. If you do please speak to Mrs Roberts.

Our last Muddy Mondays this term involved hunting for teddy bears. Blue Sea & Blue Sky had to find and plot the missing bears on their maps. We were very impressed with how they recognised the places on the maps. We all enjoyed the rewards for finding all bears.

In Yellow Class this afternoon, we programmed the micro:bits to play rock paper scissors 🪨🗒️✂️💛

Purple class enjoyed reading ‘Guess How Much I love You’ by Sam McBratney this morning and used the book to inspire some beautiful writing about ‘What is love?’ for Miss Willcock to use at her wedding! 💒 💜

Yesterday we celebrated the achievements of our fantastic school football team 🏆💜⚽️

Red class started their first art lesson by experimenting with their own marks. Our topic this term is DRAWING. Can you see straight, curved, round, zig zag lines? We then used Van Gogh’s sketches for inspiration in our next piece of work.

Yellow Class have had such a busy first day! We started our science lesson this afternoon by matching the bones to our bodies! 🦴🩻💛

A lovely WOW moment in Blue Sky’s MUDDY MONDAYS today. We spotted a ladybird!

Blue Sea & Blue Sky have started to create their CREATION display. We looked closely at small world animals and photographs of the sky, sea and plants. They helped us think about what we were going to paint? We are looking forward to seeing the finished display.

Red class produced some very detailed sketches today following on from our work in outside learning. They looked closely at the leaves of the Lime and Holly tree after locating them in our school grounds.

Yellow Class enjoyed focusing on passing in rugby this afternoon in PE 💛✅🏅🏉
