Sports Week… BOXING! 🥊 KS2 classes took part in Box 2B Fit sessions on Wednesday. The children loved learning some basic boxing technique & testing their fitness levels through a fun carousel of stations. (Finished off with some delicious blueberries for snack!) The White Horse Federation

HS Sports have been Moredon Primary every day during Sports Week delivering a range of sports sessions for every year group - from Nursery to Y6. We love working with these wonderful coaches - they are fantastic at what they do and provide brilliant role models for our pupils.

Last term, a group of Year 4 pupils went away to Grittleton House with Mr Sedgwick, Mr McGann and Mrs Hodge. They had a wonderful time learning new skills, facing challenges and having great fun together!

Y6 have been learning about the circulatory system in Science. Today, the children made ‘blood bottles’ to understand the function of the plasma, cells and platelets. Look at the wonderful explanations they wrote afterwards, detailing the function of each part! The White Horse Federation

Y6 visited the Williams F1 HQ this week! It was an amazing opportunity for them to visit a real-life working environment. The day included a composites challenge, a session on their simulators & a museum tour. Our pupils were truly inspired to consider future careers in STEM! 🌟

Children in KS2 now have the opportunity to play swing ball at break and lunch times! Thanks to our Fundraising Friends for purchasing these using the money we have raised through school events.

Congratulations to Charlie, Bailey and Sree for reaching the semi-final in Moredon’s Spelling Bee! Brooklyn won the final round and will soon be off to The White Horse Federation Grand Final! 🐝

Year 5 & 6 had a fantastic day at Thorpe Park - filled with fun, friendship and thrills! A well-deserved reward for working so hard this year.

Be U ran some wonderful workshops for our Year 6 pupils today to help ease their worries about secondary school and support their transition into Year 7.

Year 6 have had a wonderful week in Pencelli! ☀️ Canoeing, caving, climbing and gorge walking… the heat didn’t put anybody off! 💦 The children showed superb resilience, perseverance, teamwork and enthusiasm all week long.

We loved watching Treasure Island today! 🏴‍☠️ Year 6 also had a fantastic workshop afterwards. Thank you M&M Theatrical Productions for a brilliant end of term treat!

Two of our pupils - Bailey and Harry - were chosen to participate in author Giselle Idedia’s launch of Lemons to Legends! They took on the roles of two of the book’s characters and brought the story to life through drama. What a great experience!
