These past few weeks, Moorhead Firefighters have been completing the annual testing of their firehose. This process ensures our inventory is accurate and each length of hose is ready for an emergency.

Test your carbon monoxide (CO) alarms at least once a month, change batteries twice a year. Alarms should be installed within 10 feet of your sleeping areas.

Thank you Little Lights Christian Preschool for having the Moorhead Fire Department teach on knowing two ways out if there is a fire, once we are outside we stay outside, and calling 9-1-1 in an emergency. They all did a fantastic job!

Moorhead firefighter’s are training this week on practicing bail outs. Should a fire get out of control, performing a bail out is a life-saving solution for firefighter self-survival.
