On April 20, The Horizon Middle School band served as the host for the Northwest Region of MBDA (Minnesota Band Directors Association) and the Minnesota Band Directors Association festival, specifically for first and second-year band students. 🎺🎷 #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

We are proud of our 6-8 grade bands that had their first concerts of the year last night! It was another great day to be a Spud!

After some evening rehearsals on Monday and Tuesday, we are all set to rock your world! Come see your Horizon Middle School 8th grade and Moorhead Spuds marching bands at the Homecoming Parade tomorrow at 4pm (weather permitting)!

We are pretty proud of the tone, accuracy, and pulse of these beginner 5th grade band trombones! We’ve only been rehearsing for a few weeks but they’re getting it!

The West Fargo Band Jam is where the party was this morning. The West Fest parade is in t-minus 30 minutes. It’s a good day to be a band Spud! #MoorheadProud
