ANOTHER iPhone 14 RESCUE! Mom hiking w/son and nephew got lost in the Angeles Nat’l Forest and texted 911 which became a satellite mssg to LASD CrescentaValley station. Montrose Search & Rescue Team (Ca.) was activated at 8pm. We found them at 10:30 and hiked them out. Everyone home safe. @lasdhq Robert Luna

We had an action-packed day on the mountain on Saturday. We started off by going to Barley Flats for Helitac training with @seblasd Air Rescue 5. We refreshed our skills on hoisting into and out of Air 5 as well as general helicopter safety.

Yesterday, Deputy Chun and Reserve Deputies Cramoline and Tsai from Montrose Search & Rescue Team (Ca.) did a safety presentation for Troop 308 at Crescenta Valley Park. Civilian Volunteers Hensley and Koegler were also on hand. Our station loves to speak at events such as this. #LASD
