Today in the AIS international mid-term conference (Palermo) presenting the contribution entitled "How to reduce educational inequalities? Stakeholders’ knowledge and accumulated know-how in the Spanish context" from the PIONEERED-Project project Facultad Educación UCM
.Xavier Bonal presented the paper ‘Opting in or out: local education markets and middle-class choices’ (with Sheila González Motos, Alejandro Montes & #MarcelPages). The analysis shows how educhoices are spatially contingent and modulated by the characteristics of local education markets.
@gepsuab research fellow @montes_alej from Facultad Educación UCM shared the preliminary results of the PIONEERED-Project project in the presentation entitled "How to reduce educational inequalities? Stakeholders’ knowledge and accumulated know-how in the Spanish context".

Very happy to have participated another year in the #ECER2023 Conference! We presented the results of our case study at PIONEERED-Project about educational inequalities and practices to tackle them and, as usual, share and extraordinary time with many dear colleagues!
Over the past 2 days, we joined the Inclusion4Schools conference in Budapest to talk about how to reverse #inequalities in #education. We had very insightful discussions with researchers, practitioners, journalists & policy-makers. Thank you for the thought-provoking experience!
