We made some bread (just like The little red hen did), visited the ‘Big’ library, painted some beautiful bookmarks, had French with Asterix and had a Teddy bear picnic style snack. 🥖📚🎨🧸

During one of our fun Forest School sessions #MonktonKindergarten made their own musical instruments by filling bottles with natural treasures they had found in the woods. They then played along whilst singing songs.🌳🎵 #MonktonOutdoors #MonktonMusic

Mother Nature has provided us with some amazing icy weather to kick off our ‘wonderful weather’ topic. Our curious owls have been thinking of some interesting ice experiments to try out this week, starting with, “what will happen if we paint onto ice?” #MonktonKindergarten

#MonktonKindergarten had lots of fun with pumpkins last week. They were developing their fine and gross motorskills with hammering golf tees in and placing elastic bends around. Then they made holes to see what was inside them and used them as part of their small world play. 🎃
