Brazil is quickly becoming a key crypto hub globally with its forward-thinking regulators (and clear policies), TradFi engagement and a growing developer community – thanks Web Summit Rio for having me, Yat Siu and Kristina Lucrezia Cornèr on stage today!

Stablecoins play a vital role as on/off ramps to USD. In the wake of last year’s banking crisis, they’re necessary for traditional institutions (esp in the US) to access crypto markets. I’m incredibly excited for Ripple to fill a key need in the market with our stablecoin!

2024 is quickly shaping up to be the year of crypto institutionalization on a macro scale (tho worth noting that several TradFi companies launched crypto access, tokenization products, etc. in previous bear markets). Thanks Eric Newcomer and team for a fantastic event!

We keep saying it..the future is multichain! Hugely excited for Axelar Network to integrate with the XRP Ledger 1/ bringing more cross-chain dApps to XRPL 2/ providing liquidity for stablecoins + other assets 3/ expand the XRPL’s features to 50+ other blockchains.

As we integrate custody more deeply into Ripple’s products, we see clear synergies with Standard Custody to complement our payments and custody offerings – all in service of being a one-stop shop to move, convert and store value with blockchain and crypto.

As every parent knows – especially in the last few years – having the support of your coworkers (and boss!) and family-friendly policies ingrained in your company’s culture, is paramount. Thankful and proud to work at Ripple!
