🇲🇩🇪🇺 Good meeting with CoE Secretary General Alain Berset in Luxembourg. We discussed our strong cooperation with the Council of Europe and explored ways to further strengthen our dialogue on key issues for Moldova’s development.
🇲🇩🇪🇺At the 134th Council of Europe Committee of Ministers in Luxembourg, I underlined Moldova’s commitment to democracy, rule of law & human rights, backed the Special Tribunal for Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and shared our vision for Moldova’s CoE Presidency in 2025–2026.
Best of luck to Malta at the CoE in steering the Committee of Ministers' work in the next six months and highlighting via its Presidency priorities the important role of CoE in safeguarding democracy and rule of law making them more resilient in the face of emerging challenges
