Woke up to a very friendly request to provide feedback and support on Implementation Science Mixed Methods project design! Thinking about methods and methodologies at the beginning of a project is a critical, and frequently unrealized, task in any implementation research.

Spent my lunch break (under an hour) talking with a group of community members about my PrEP intervention idea (potential R21). Got amazing feedback and excitement about partnerships. It’s not based; it’s community led.

The amount of support from NORC is actually amazing. Being supported and respected while doing the work are both very crucial and make the difference in workplace culture.

I fought to come to the #2024EHEMeeting and get my voice at the table. As someone who works in EHE, it made me think of what voices are centered and which aren’t. Echoing the calls from colleagues and community members, we need the people doing the work to be at the table.

We need the Department of Transportation at the #2024EHEMeeting . If people cannot reliably travel to clinics, services, or programs, then interventions don't matter because they won't work because their people can't get to them. #LetsGetMoving

I’ve been training with NORC and thus far have found them to be a gracious, kind, efficient, and remarkable employer. Managers who uplift and encourage are rare but appreciated. I’m confident that the people I meet will see the kindness come through.

78% of White people who would benefit from PrEP are on PrEP, compared to 11% of Black and just over 20% of Hispanic/Latinx folks. We can get to 78% for all, but why aren’t we? Systemic racism? Poor messaging? Lack of community engagement? Mistrust? The answer is yes.
