A big mistake I see early stage founders make: They seek out too much advice. It contradicts. They don’t know what to do. They end up trying bits of everything. Conclusion: wasted time, unfocused strategy. Solicit 2-3 core opinions, move fast, test and move faster.

Big lesson for early stage founders: In the early days, it is easy to let small things slip: a lost receipt, an extra day off here for one person, a sloppy email, you name it. You have to stop it there and then. It creates a culture of accepting sloppiness which worsens.
